Onsrud Router to produce parts for the millwork, décor, graphics and signage industry on first shift. Plastex Fabricators is seeking a full-time permanent CNC Router Operator in our Charlotte, NC facility. The ideal candidate will operate a C. R. Onsrud Router to produce parts for the millwork, décor, graphics and signage industry on first shift. This position requires the right person to work independently in a fast-paced work environment that has changing demands throughout the day. The employee must be flexible and organized.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in CNC router operation with an intermediate level of experience in setup and programming, C.R. Onsrud training is a great plus.
High School graduate or GED equivalent with good math skills.
Trade or Technical School education in a corresponding field is a definite plus.
Working Knowledge of AutoCAD, MasterCAM, AlphaCAM, CasMate, EnRoute, FlexiSign or CorelDraw software is a definite plus.
Knowledge of hand tools, woodworking and metalworking machinery a plus.
Knowledge of basic computer skills, PC based.
Working knowledge of machining procedure of wood, aluminum, plastic and graphic board products.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must be dependable and have a great attendance history.
Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime hours as needed.
Compensation
Pay is $14 to $16 per hour to start based on relevant experience. In addition, Plastex Fabricators offers a highly-competitive total compensation package that includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays.
